Sign Language

This week is Sign Language Awareness Week. We had a taster course in our classroom taken by Jessica's Mum, Tui. Tui is deaf and always signs. She is very good and very fast. We learned lots of words and some sentences. Watch our movie and you will see some of the things we did. It was loads of fun and we can't wait to learn more.

    WOW! I am impressed you learnt all that in a taster course. I wonder if you can think of a situation when sign language could be an advantage over speaking?
