Sign Language
This week is Sign Language Awareness Week. We had a taster course in our classroom taken by Jessica's Mum, Tui. Tui is deaf and always signs. She is very good and very fast. We learned lots of words and some sentences. Watch our movie and you will see some of the things we did. It was loads of fun and we can't wait to learn more.

How to Blog?
We learnt about Blogs. They are news on the computer. We have learnt about different words related to blogging. We are now going to manage our own class blog.

Waimarino
Room 23 had a fantastic day at Waimarino on Thursday. The weather was superb but the river water was 'refreshingly chilly!'. The instructors were very impressed with everyone's 'can do' attitude and how we were all willing to give everything a go.
